I hate wasting the whole bottom poriton of the asparagus, so breaking it where it bends, like you are supposed to do, doesn't work for me. And when it is huge, I get out my peeler. It works! Well, I already wrote an asparagus blog and there really isn't much to say, so again with it, ya know. I always want to blog about it because I eat it almost every night.

And, yeaaah, super bonus that there is a recipe on here---and I didn't even have to write it or nothing. Cooool. Yay, Tina, huh?

Terre,

Mike and I love asparagus too. Love all the things I can do it. Recently I made an Asparagus stir fry with ginger and Kecap Manis, which you can get at an Asian Market, especially if they carry Indonesian stuff. It's a sweet soy sauce that is so delicious! Really thick tho.

Add a bit of onion, cut-up some large pieces of ginger,Ginger is to be taken out after cooked. 3-4 tablespoons of Kecap Manis and maybe a little bit of canola oil. Yum!!!

If you like it spicy, I've added 2 tablespoons of Sambal Oelek, which adds about the right amount of spice.

Love Asparagus! Yum Yum Yum
