Could be that it is not the squirrels that get the tomatoes in our yard. I don’t know. I do know that the Blue Jays get them too. But the squirrels used to steal our peaches so I think I assumed they stole the tomatoes too.

It could be the raccoons, possums, skunks, or rats . . . . . . who knows. Something ate our egg plants too!

Can’t really blame a dog for playing with a bright red (can they see color?) “ball”.

The squirrels leave the tomatoes alone, however the dog is another story. She pulls them off and plays ball with them, but doesn’t eat them! We blamed the squirrels for the ones we found on the ground until we caught the dog pulling them off the vins, and then we watched her!

So many people love tomatoes. And they have so many good nutrients, I am try them often so that I will “grow” to like them. Some I do like, but some are not good, but that could be that the tomatoes is not good. I like the grape ones. And I love the zebra ones. I used to eat them off the vine too when my hubby grows up. I have a brown thumb . . . . he has the green one.

Oh, do you squirrels stay away from you tomatoes because they are too busy eating at their table?

I LOVE tomatoes, especially home grown ones. Nothing beats the little cherry tomatoes. I eat them right off the vine when hubby grows them for me!

Why, yes, I do. I likeD the tomatoes my hubby GREW. (Tense, Dear.) I was thinking about posting something about that later.

And I would love for you to grow more. I really liked those. They were yummy.

It would be cool if we could find a spot not in Spot’s way. Although I don’t see her back there that often, but it could be she is not back there because animals are not back there. And animals are not back there because there is no food/plants/fruits/veggies to eat.

People kept telling me that “home grown” tomatoes were better. I think it depends on the tomato and the ripeness—-FOR ME. Some store bought ones are fine — to me and some aren’t. I prefer small tomatoes; grape, cherry, and such over the large ones.

There is soooooooo much good stuff in tomatoes, I keep trying them so I can learn to like ‘em.

We (my husband and I) both love tomatoes in the summer. I can’t stand the “hot house” tomatoes that I find at the grocery store that taste like styrofoam. But fresh out of the garden, oooohhhhhh, there is nothing more satisfying than a ripe, juicy, just picked off the vine tomato.

I’m proud of you for getting by your food dislikes and eating tomatoes!!! Good for you…and the galric and salt…you go girl. YES!!!
