A Yellow Rose

Posted by terrepruitt on April 21, 2017

I looked outside this morning when a squirrel came to ask for nuts.  When I looked outside I saw this beauty.  I told myself that I needed to remember to take a picture of it.  I was thinking I would use it for my Friday Photo today.  Then I thought I shouldn’t do that because I just did a flower photo.  But, I didn’t JUST post a flower photo, it was two weeks ago.  And it IS the season.  And I did say that I would be posting a lot of flowers, cats, and birds . . . so . . . here ya go.  A beautiful rose from our yard.  I decided to cut it and bring it inside.

    • It was beautiful. It didn’t last that long. I am often torn between leaving them to die on the bush or bringing them inside. If they are on the bush I still get to see them, but I don’t get to smell them like when they are in the house. Although this one does is not fragrant like our orange ones!

  3. I love flowers. I don’t think there will ever be too many flower posts.

    • Yay! Thank you, Elysha! That is great to hear. I was just going through my phone and I found A LOT more that I want to post. I love our roses. They are super pretty and it really is just that they do that on their own. I can’t take any credit!
