August 2020 Nessa And Teagan

Just a sweet pictures of my girls. We have been pretty hot here, the temps are high and the air quality is low. We keep the windows shut. This was a hot evening.
Nessa is in the box and Teagan is next to her for this Friday Photo.

They were, we are having a heat wave and we have not been able to open windows to enjoy the cool air because there are too many fires in California and our air quality is so bad. Eyes water and lungs hurt when we breathe the air, so we keep the windows closed to have better quality air, but it is hot and humid.

I used to rub our cats’ stomach with an ice cube. The furry one especially really pepped up.

WOW! I don’t think our cats would like that. I have dampened a wash cloth and wiped them down before. But this is a humid heat so I hesitate to add moisture to the air. This was after DAYS of over 100° so we were ALL done. If I try the ice cube method, I will let you know!

Furry Ernest doesn’t like new things but he really liked it.

I had a frozen water bottle in a plastic bag and I petted one of our cats with it. She was ok for a second, but then she got up. So it could depend on how hot they are Nice that you cooled your Ernest down!

Yup. They both LOVE this box!!! I fluff up the stuff every time they vacate it so it will be nice and fluffy when they come back to it.
