I was in the mortgage industry for 23 years. I was thinking it would be cute to have a company name that that was easy to remember, like the old Help U Sell. But we opted for the U to be “You”.
On my site you can learn a little about me. You can see my class schedule. There are also pages on my site about Nia.

Hi Terre,
I e-mailed you a few times in the past and you were so kind and gracious and gave me so much help from the goodness of your heart. I just want to say thank you so very much. I live in New York. But luckily I came across your website and all your beautiful information. I wish I could be in your classes. You are so special. All the work you put into your website, I mean the recipes, all the knowledge you share, we don’t have anyone like you in New York, actually I don’t think there is anyone like you anywhere. I mean someone that offers so much. I would give anything to be your student. I would take all your classes and private lessons. I would love to learn from you. But I am grateful from what I could pick up through the computer. You are amazing and so special. I could tell from everything that I am reading. Thank you again. Ruth Hayon
P.S. I just found out from you about the Yoga App. Another thing I never knew and learned from you.

Ohh I have some great organizing your craftroom ideas that are really inexpensive…what do you need?

🙂 Well, the thing is . . . . I don’t have a craft room. My room that would be for crafts is actually my office, the cat room, the storage room . . . and just the basic overall mess.

My biggest obstacle is that I am a bit of a clothes hoarder. I was working my way to whittling down my clothes when a couple of years ago my mother died and BOOM! doubled my clothes inventory. So many “reasons” I can’t get rid of those. :-). It is a process. Thank you for the offer. I might take you up on that with a few questions!

I went through the same when my mom passed…ohh the clothes she saved..How I finally gave them up was to donate them to a charity that was close to my heart. I imagined the women’s smiles.

I have donated at least two CARLOADS to a charity.
But now the charities around here – most of them no longer accept direct clothing donations . . . you give the clothes to a company who sells them and then gives a PORTION of the sales to the charity. So . . . . I find that a little less heartwarming . . . since it seems the people of the charity that one donates to don’t actually get the clothes and then they only get a portion of the money from the sales. Charity is all a very big business now.
I do need to go through everything again – her clothes and mine and do some gleaning!

what about your church?

Ahhh . . . a church might be interested in them. Good idea! But since I do not attend a church I would have to find one that would take the clothes. That is a good idea. Although, a few months ago I did find one charity in the area will take clothes. They do it on Tuesdays and Thursdays only. I went by their once.
There is a family shelter in my neighborhood and that is where I used to take everything. I always felt good about that because the items went to help families that were trying to get back on their feet. But they no longer take donations.

check for battered women shelter in your hometown…they can always use clothes. Most of the families that go through these shelters left their homes with only what they were wearing.

Yeah, of the ones I have found (in fact I taught Nia at two different ones a few times) they only take NEW clothes. As I said, it is a big business around here. Except for the one place I mentioned. And I don’t remember if that is just a women’s shelter.
