Teagan Let Me Take Her Picture

Posted by terrepruitt on August 31, 2018

Wow. This cat was letting me take her picture. She was moving the entire time, but she was letting me take her picture. This is kind of a new thing. I think she is beautiful. Remember that black cats have a more challenging time being adopted due to the superstition that surrounds black cats. For cat lovers that is very puzzling, but for those with the beliefs that a black cat is bad it is an actual deterrent. So . . . if you are in the market to adopt a cat, please consider adopting a black one.

Teagan is my Friday Photo.

    • I am wondering if all black cats are sweet. It is as if they know that some people are afraid of them so they pour on the charm. Our blackie is the sweetest, but when we first got her she wouldn’t even make eye contact and she was NOT a fan of cameras. I find it very difficult to take her picture because of her color so that she was always shying away from the camera made it impossible. I have a ton of pictures of her sister, but not her. But she is letting me take pictures more now!
