Black Black Cat

I am so fascinated by our black cat right now. She is so very black. She has not been able to sit in the sun. We haven’t had that much and we have had workers in the house so cats have to stay in their room when people are going in and out of the house so she hasn’t had much space to lie in the sun. So she is so black. Some cats “rust”, at least that is what I learned it as being called. Like a blonde whose hair gets bleached by the sun, some black cats get “rusty”. The black gets red/rusty highlights or undertones . . . I am not sure which, but she ends up looking less black. She is still black, it is just a different shade. Right now she is BLACK! It is fascinating. Her name is Teagan so clearly she is beautiful no matter what shade of black she is . . . it is just striking to me.

Thank you. She is a very pretty girl and so funny. She is a very funny cat. It is interesting how they change color in the sun. I am not sure Nessa changes color, she likes the sun, but not as much as Teagan. Teagan loves it like your Sierra! (Nice to hear from you. XO)
