Broken Flowers
Posted by terrepruitt on July 12, 2024
I ordered flowers through the farm that we get our produce box from and many of them were broken. (Sigh.) So I decided to float them. I can still enjoy them AND this dish I rarely use. I am posting them as my Friday Photo so you can (hopefully) enjoy them too. Sadly my photography skills are lacking, they look much pretty in person in the bowl on the counter.

It is a good way to use a rarely used dish and not throw away broken, but not dead flowers. Thx!

Hi Terre,
Your photo reminded me of something I saw at a food expo show. The stand was selling various exotic flavoured teas, flavoured different spices and flowers.
To make the presentation more dramatic they placed a dried flower in the glass and as it rehydrated in the tea it “bloomed” back into its full size.
Best Wishes
Kevin

Ahhh. They sell “tea” like that. It is a flower that you put in a pot to make tea! I have one that I haven’t used yet. Thanks for reminding me!
