With the recently upheaval of the house finished, I am getting to put stuff out again and in some cases rearrange things. I have always had this vase on the bottom shelf in a cabinet and I really think it is lovely so I have moved it to a higher shelf so we can see it. I may be posting additional pictures as Friday Photos to show all sides. Have a wonderful weekend.

I received this years ago as a gift, the bird. I added the flower made from a book. Our things have been packed away for so long I am enjoying putting them out again. I really like this bird.

So my “smile flowers” gave me a lot of smiles. Not just on the day they arrived that I really needed the smile, but afterwards. They opened up and were just a lovely spot in the mess that was going on around us. It was so nice. I wanted to share another photo of them so you could see how beautiful they were! Sometimes friends are magical. I woke up one day just fed up and I received a bunch of flowers from a friend. It was perfect timing. I was “fed up” with all the work that was being done on the house and the mess and how you have to follow the workers around to make sure they have done/are doing what they agreed to do and just all the stuff that goes on when work has to be done on the house. I was done and the flowers made me smile. And they were beautiful. Thanks, Friend!

I looked out my window this week and saw this gorgeous tree. I figured since I hadn’t posted my annual picture of our Cherry Blossom tree, I could post this, even though it is no longer March. This is a different tree so I thought that would be a good change for a Friday Photo.

Today’s Friday Photo is food. This was the best Spaghetti Pie I have made and I need to make note of it. I mixed the eggs and added some milk. Then I added some ricotta to the eggs AND some mozzarella. I used most of the entire container of ricotta. I had used some of it for something else, but not a lot. So a couple of spoons went into the eggs then the rest of the container went into the center. I also used the yummy olive oil (Milanese Gremolata) to grease the pan. And I put aluminum foil into the pan then parchment paper. My spring form pan leaks so the aluminum was to help it not leak all over. I sprinkled some olive oil on the noodles around the edge. It came out so good.

I had given Teagan a piece of paper to sit on. She loved it. But then her sister sat on it. So I gave Teagan a different piece of paper of her own to sit on. She just stared at her sister on her paper. So I had to unfold the paper. And here we are . . . . today’s Friday Photo.

I thought I had posted this picture during the Christmas Season because I feel it is more of a Christmas post, but I have it on my desktop and I just want to post it. I have had this little rocking snow globe for about 35 years. I can’t remember exactly, but I know it was from a Christmas party at my first job. I had two of these, but one broke. Along with them I have four little baskets with fake foliage in them. Two have holly berries and two have pine snippets. They were all table decorations that we were able to take home. I was sad when one broke, but that happens. It is just cheap plastic, but boy does it bring back memories. It is a silly thing, but I think it is cute.
I know it is kinda weird to have a Christmas thing posted in February, but I really want to post this little guy. I know if I file it away I will forget, but it is driving me crazy on my desktop. So here is my little rockin’ snow globe from a Christmas party from my first job for today’s Friday Photo. I love this guy!
