An Old New Toy

Posted by terrepruitt on March 5, 2021

About 20 years ago we bought a refurbished Roomba.  It didn’t work.  This week my husband fixed it — AND he Roomba-ed a few rooms.  Our cat was fascinated by this little device.

A Roomba and a cat for today’s Friday Photo.

  1. I used to shine a small red pointer light on the wall that our cat would chase. However that didn’t interest her for long. The Roomba should be more interesting. If I were a cat I would want to get out of its way.

    • We have some laser pointers and sometimes they are interested and sometimes not . . . just like all things. Can’t always count on a cat to be interested. I think they avoid the places that it is, but I am not sure as I was trying to avoid it, too. 🙂

Friends have both and the cat loves sitting on the Roomba while it’s working
