Tiny Yellow Roses

Posted by terrepruitt on May 14, 2021

Years ago one of my bosses gave me one of those little rose bushes in a pot.  The roses are tiny.  My husband planted it and twelve years later it still produces roses.

Here is a small yellow rose from my rose bush that used to be small for my Friday Photo

My great-aunt was a tiny person, about 4.5 feet tall. She loved miniature roses and had many bushes producing very small, full blossoms. It looks to me like you had a small bush (at first) that grew normal-size roses – always a favorite! I’m glad you have kept it going.

    • No these aren’t normal size roses . . . but I guess that could depend on what you think of as “normal size.” These is about 1/3 the size of our regular roses. I am happy that the rose bush has lasted this long. So sweet that your tiny aunt like tiny rose bushes. Thank you for sharing.
