Sending Valentine’s Day Cards

Posted by terrepruitt on February 7, 2022

Hopefully it is not too late to do this. I have written the cards and plan to send them tomorrow. I am hoping they get thousands of cards. How fun would that be? I just saw this via a friend on Facebook last night. I thought I would share in case you wanted to send some Valentine’s Day love.

(Summary of Facebook screenshot: Irvine Nursing & Rehabilitation in Kentucky has made it known that some of their clients would be open to receiving Valentine’s Day cards and they have pictures those that want to participate.)

What do you think?

  1. How nice! My mother is in an independent living facility, but early during the pandemic several high school students wrote to her and the other residents. She was so pleased to get their letters of encouragement!

    • That is sweet. I love getting mail. As I was writing out the cards it occurred to me that I would love for someone to do this to me, so I am glad I did it. I mailed them out yesterday. Thanks for sharing your story. Great confirmation!
