Nessa Sometimes Demands Attention

Right now, I think it is best that I keep my view inside as opposed to outside. 🙂 Sometimes this one will “murph” at me (she doesn’t really MEOW) at me until I sit down and let her make muffins/biscuits. Just a sweet pictures of my girls. We have been pretty hot here, the temps are high and the air quality is low. We keep the windows shut. This was a hot evening.

Nessa In The Ripple Rug

Such a silly kitty. She had just finished attacking her sister, she had dived into the hole and crouched there waiting for Teagan to come. Teagan ran up and swatted and Nessa popped her head out for the attack. They really love their Ripple Rug. I thought I would share for today’s Friday Photo.

Too Much Time On Her Hands

One day I looked up and saw this. It took me a second to realize she was staring at the moving second hand. She sometimes watches TV and often stares at my iPad or phone. Funny Girl.

Cats’ Ripple Rug Play

I wanted to add these videos to my Ripple Rug post, but I was having trouble signing into YouTube.  So I am making them a separate post all their own.

This first video is just Nessa seeing the Ripple Rug for the first time.  It is a “long” (1:26) video as she just walks around it.  Eventually she gets in (about :55).  It is fun to watch pets with a new toy (thing).  This is also when my husband was working in the dining area so if you have the volume up (not recommended) you will hear loud clacking.   He types FAST and he was using a noisy keyboard.

The next video is quick.  Just a quick look at the two girls and the rug.

The last video is of Nessa’s current FAVORITE game.  We spend a lot of time doing this.  She loves to attack the stick.

Well, as I said, I wanted these to be a part of the Ripple Rug post, but they didn’t make it.  And now they have given me something to post.  It is sometimes difficult to come up with things that are a step away from all that is going on.  There is so much going on and so many things (articles, videos, posts, tweets, etc.) already out there about what is going on, I don’t feel I need to add to it.  I honestly get overwhelmed and need to step away.  And I need distractions, if you do too, here you go.

A Cat In The Window

If you are here looking at my Friday Photo, thank you. I mean, I always am grateful if you are looking at my blog, but I feel especially thankful now because many of you might be keeping an eye on more important stuff. So if you popped over here to get a little relief, thanks.

It is really bizarre this isolation situation.

This was yesterday. The clouds were so pretty I was thinking about taking a picture and then, Nessa decided to look out. I liked her silhouette.

Here is a close up of Nessa.  While Teagan is a little more tolerate of photos being taken of her than she used to, Nessa doesn’t care at all.  Unless she is playing.  Once she notices the camera all play stops!

Two Cats One Box

I ordered something and it came in this box.  For a long while we were saving every box we received to use to pack up stuff, but after a while we felt we had enough so we have been recycling our boxes.  But this box is of great quality so my husband decided we should keep it and use it for stuff.  Well, it sat in the house long enough that one cat decided it was hers.  Then I turned it on its side and now BOTH cats have claimed it.  I move it around so it gets premium sunlight.

Random Pictures of Teagan and Nessa

I have so many pictures of our cats.  It would take me ALL of my Friday Photos to post them all.  So I thought I would just post a few.  No particular reason for these pictures.  No exciting stories behind them.  The one of Teagan with her eye open looking at me is the last of a few. She was so cute with her paw over her face – you know how they do that?  Well, I disturbed her enough to get that look.  The one with them staring through the screen is them looking at a lizard that visits them.  And Nessa has been in that box a lot!
