Floating Flowers
Posted by terrepruitt on March 10, 2017
Have you ever been out to eat and they put flowers on your food? Well, these are from that. But I don’t remember where we were. I just remember loving the orchids and wanting to keep ’em. So I put them in this bowl so that we could enjoy them for a little longer. This picture is actually from August 2015. As I said, I started this feature because sometimes I have pictures that I want to post and they could be old ones.
So here are some orchids in a bowl from 2015 for this Friday’s Friday Photo.

🙂 Some restaurants put flowers on the food. You might want to go to a restaurant that does it — it usually is really good food. 🙂 This MIGHT have been at a tea house. I don’t remember.

I think it’s actually a rather good idea!

The flowers on the food or you going to a “fancy” restaurant? (Perhaps both?)

I like orchids, too. And these were so pretty. I couldn’t just throw them out. I wanted to enjoy them for longer.
The Friday photo theme is helping me out a lot. It allows me to quickly post on Fridays and it is gives me a place to “display” some stuff. 🙂 Thanks, Elysha!

When I’m Kauai I see these Orchids a lot. At the condo resort I always stay at, they put these in the soap dish in the bathroom upon check-in. I always fill a small glass with water and let it float so I can see it daily. They usually last the week. 🙂

HEY! I have been thinking about you!
Yeah, it is pretty to have them float in water. And cool that they last a week.
I think these might have actually been from a tea with you. But no, you would have taken yours, right? Hmmm.
