Floating Flowers

Posted by terrepruitt on March 10, 2017

Have you ever been out to eat and they put flowers on your food?  Well, these are from that.  But I don’t remember where we were.  I just remember loving the orchids and wanting to keep ’em.  So I put them in this bowl so that we could enjoy them for a little longer.  This picture is actually from August 2015.  As I said, I started this feature because sometimes I have pictures that I want to post and they could be old ones.

So here are some orchids in a bowl from 2015 for this Friday’s Friday Photo.

Dance Exercise, Nia, Nia in the City of San Jose, Nia classes in the South Bay, Nia Teacher, Nia Class, San Jose Nia, Nia San Jose, Nia workout, Nia, Gentle Yoga, Group Ex classes, YMCA, Zumba, Nia Technique, SJ City Fit, SJCityFit

    • I like orchids, too. And these were so pretty. I couldn’t just throw them out. I wanted to enjoy them for longer.

The Friday photo theme is helping me out a lot. It allows me to quickly post on Fridays and it is gives me a place to “display” some stuff. 🙂 Thanks, Elysha!

When I’m Kauai I see these Orchids a lot. At the condo resort I always stay at, they put these in the soap dish in the bathroom upon check-in. I always fill a small glass with water and let it float so I can see it daily. They usually last the week. 🙂

    • HEY! I have been thinking about you!

Yeah, it is pretty to have them float in water. And cool that they last a week.

I think these might have actually been from a tea with you. But no, you would have taken yours, right? Hmmm.
