Five Years

Posted by terrepruitt on April 12, 2019

It never feels right just letting the day pass without a mention. And I know the day has passed, but I thought I would post a picture of my mom for my Friday Photo. It has been five years. Whenever I go looking for photos, I get sad because we really didn’t take that many. We often just hung out and didn’t get made-up and we both always wanted to at least have hair and make-up done in photos – silly, I know – so I don’t have a lot.

  1. Same here. Don’t have many photos at all. So the ones I have are so precious.

I generally don’t take photos of people and I have a similar problem when it comes to family photos. My parents passed away a few years ago and the ones I do have of them are consequently very precious.

    • Yes, photos can become so precious. My dad dabbled in photography so I actually have a lot of photos from when they were younger. So at least that is nice. I am sorry you only have a few, but at least you have a few. It would be awful to not have any, huh?

        • Perhaps friends or other family members have some to share? Sometimes those are super fun because they can be to an event that you didn’t attend or even know about so you see a different side of your loved one. Or maybe you see a different perspective of an event you were at or were aware of.

I wish I had more photos of my mother. She was always taking photos of everyone else.

Let me hear it. What have you got to say about this post?
