Weed Eating Goats

Posted by terrepruitt on March 13, 2020

So these goats do a really good job! On our way to our destination they were all on the roadside of the hill and there were so many I started laughing. I had never seen so many goats! The area was covered in goats and flowers. A couple of hours later on our way home the goats had scattered some and it looks like they did a great job on the hill.

This is one of those pictures that might not be as pretty as one would think need be for a post, but it is a memory I would like to remember, so I am using it for my Friday Photo.

  1. What a sweet photo! I didn’t know people really used goats for weed control!

    • I wish I would have taken a photo when we were on the way up . . . . .SO MANY GOATS. And yes, around here I see at least one sign for a guy who owns the goats and will bring them to your property to let them eat the weeds. They are often seen along the side of the freeway.
