Beautiful Jonquil

Posted by terrepruitt on May 15, 2020

I seem to be on a flower kick. I don’t even remember where I took this picture, but it is a GORGEOUS jonquil. Ahhh, so not remembering where I took this made me curious. The date told me that I was at my parents’ house. And now I remember. There was a few scattered about the property and I didn’t remembering seeing them before, but sometimes the memory is funny because I have since noticed them in other pictures.

So here is another flower share for my Friday Photo. I love flowers. How about you?

  2. I have location turned on when using my phone to take pictures so I usually know where and when I took the photos and Google drive even provides a map with a rather exact positioning although sometimes it gets things wrong. I do like taking pictures of flowers.

    • It seems like it is a great way to keep track of where you took that photo, not just for you, but for everyone! I’m a spy so some of my locations need to remain secret . . . shhhhhh! 😉

  3. Love jonquils and daffodils. Even I can grow them.

    • Ha. Are you saying you don’t have much of a green thumb? Are you saying they are easy to grow? My mother-in-law used to have an entire section of her yard full of them!

Its a daffodil. They come up from bulbs that go dormant and come back every year.
