Frittata Pic

My Friday Photos as just supposed to be photos, but they ARE supposed to be pictures of things that I want to share, but really don’t need or deserve a long written post. I didn’t want to share this picture without more information. Even though this is before cooking I didn’t NOT want to share this picture because that was one GREAT Frittata. I use this basic Frittata recipe (click here) and put whatever ingredients I have on hand. This one pictured had leeks, mushroom, and sausage. Yum. I don’t have a cast iron skillet or a stove pan that can go in the oven so I just use a casserole dish.

A Black Cat For Halloween

Ha, next Friday will not be October, so here is a Halloween Friday Photo as close to Halloween as I can get since Halloween is next Wednesday. This is a black kitty pillow. It was so cute I wanted a picture. I didn’t even ask the owner if I could take a picture for posting. I am pretty sure she wouldn’t mind!

Fascinated

I believe that the lizards in our yard are fascinated by the cats. I think they come to the windows to visit with them. One day there was one on the screen hanging on checking out the cats. They come over to the window and just stare at them. The cats “ick” at them. They range anywhere from two inches to 7 inches long. The majority I see are in the middle of that range. I think they are fascinating.

Wedding Centerpiece

I know it was over a month ago, but here is a wedding flower centerpiece. It still looked pretty for this picture even though it had been through a lot. I had put water in it after the wedding, but it got soaked up by something else that was put in the container. And then we had to drain it for the ride home because we don’t want water sloshing around in the car. They had beautiful arrangements. I got another one and didn’t take a picture of it. But here is this one for today’s Friday Photo.

Can’t Help But Love It

I am always amazed and awed at the roses from our yard. We don’t really do anything special, they just are there. I love them. This one is from a couple of years ago.

I should have taken a picture of them the day after I received them, but I didn’t. I set them on the table next to my place in the living room and just enjoyed them. I think I caught them while they still are beautiful. I could easily make my Friday Photos just flowers. Well, maybe flowers and cats.

A Flowered Path To Wedding Bliss

Last weekend my husband and I went to a wedding. It was so fun and so beautiful. I didn’t have a moment to check in with the bride regarding how it went (as in were there any “issues”), but to me, a guest, it was perfect. The time leading up to the wedding she had the “Oh no, what ifs . . . ” but I tried to remind her that most of the time guests don’t have any idea about all of the little things that can go “wrong” and do go “wrong” at a wedding. It is up to the bride to just take it in stride as the thing that really matters is the marriage. So, if anything went wrong, I didn’t see it. The venue was gorgeous, she was gorgeous, it was just a great event. I loved this runner that they had. Interesting, yes?
