Succulent

Last week the weather was cool enough to go for a walk. I told my husband I was going to go and he asked me where I was going and I said, “That way.” I walk “up” the street then when the class is half over I turn around and walk “down”, I don’t have a set path. It is not necessarily a straight line and I just turn on random streets. But I realized as I was walking that I have a tendency to walk the same streets without even really realizing it. And I past this plant and thought for a second to stop and take a picture, but I didn’t, but it turned out I had the last time I went for a walk. And I hadn’t posted it yet. So here is a succulent for today’s Friday Photo.

Cat Cuddle

This is one of those toys that you can change the shape of. I recently changed the shape from a line to this and both cats have been cuddling with it. Crazy cats.

A Colorful Sky

I am pretty sure I have many Friday Photos posted of this angle and a pink sky. From this angle is where the colors show the most vibrant. Often times we look out the window and say, “Pink sky.” Then get up to look at it.

FitFabFun Box Cat

Usually this box is closed because I use it to give height to my laptop, but the second I opened it, this one stepped inside. Then she got comfortable. Pretty Day

I know a recent Friday Photo was of a blue sky, but sometimes I just like to post pictures of the beauty that is around me. I feel very blessed to have such a view when in my neighborhood. It just struck me as pretty so I took a picture last October.
I labeled the file “Pretty day”. Today’s Friday Photo is a “Pretty Day” in October 2022.

Blue Sky

A week ago I went out to run a quick errand. When I jumped back into my car it wouldn’t start that is when I noticed how blue and completely clear the sky was. The photo doesn’t really do it justice as I am not a photographer, but it will serve to remind me that sometimes things happen to make me stop to look around. I am sharing my “blue sky” for my Friday Photo.

Grits

I posted this picture on Twitter last month but it is on my computer so I keep seeing a reminder of it. Grits. I used to eat them with butter, salt, and bacon crumbled in them. But I haven’t had bacon in a long time. The last time I bought it and cooked it, it just wasn’t good so I don’t bother any more. But we usually have Canadian bacon or ham so we have been using that. Fry it and chop it up. And now I add cheese. I don’t eat them often, but they are yummy when I do. Sharing this for my Friday Photo and posing the question(s) – Do you eat grits? If so, how do you eat them?

Hardy Yellow Roses

I have posted about these roses a few times. In a quick search I came up with three posts (1, 2, 3), there could be more. I am always amazed because this was one of those tiny rose rose plants and it has survived 15 years (in the ground). And the roses are not always so tiny. And they are pretty hardy. I may be posting another picture of some that came from the bush if I took a picture of them, because it was a stem of multiple roses and they are going on two weeks. I don’t know if I took a picture though. So here is a past small bunch for my Friday Photo.
