Gratitude List
Posted by terrepruitt on August 24, 2010
Often times during my day I think of things I am thankful for, I am always thankful when I remember to turn OFF the alarm in the morning before opening the door, having the heart-stopping-blare of the house alarm is really no way to start the day. I am always thankful when I find my keys when I didn’t put them in the correct place. I am always glad when I drop my toast and it lands butterside up. 🙂
I want to share a few things in my life I am gratful for, my hope is that you would join me and make your own list and share it here with me. I am only listing six, but please feel free to list as many things as you are grateful for and share as much about each thing you would like.
1–I am grateful for my hubby, he is the best.
2–I am grateful for my family, they are awesome.
3–I am grateful for my hubby’s family. While yes, I consider them my family I know that I am lucky to have such a great
“in-law” family so I needed to list them separate.
4–I am grateful to be able to teach Nia, sharing something I love with others.
5–I am grateful for my friends. I am very blessed to have some of the greatest friends ever.
6–I am grateful for my health, and will work to keep it.
I am thinking that many of you will be able to list some of these very things, but I also know that some of you have some very exciting things in your lives and maybe you would like to list them as something you are grateful for.
Oh, and I could forget, I am grateful for you taking your time to read my blog.

Ahhhh…I love this blog, Terre. It’s such an honor to list some of the things for which I’m grateful.
1. I’m grateful for being humbled before God (often the case these days)
2. I’m grateful for my husband, Frank.
3. I’m grateful that my husband tells every day that I’m a goddess and that he loves me.
4. I’m grateful for my passion and sacred livelihood: Nia
5. I’m grateful to have the opportunity to be in the presence of four felines. They truly know how to relax.
6. I’m grateful for every conscious choice I make
7. I’m grateful for the lessons I learn when I don’t make conscious choices
8. I’m grateful for having a humble, but beautiful house and our lovely property
9. I’m grateful for my chiropractor and my massage therapist
10. I’m grateful for my hairdresser
11. I’m grateful for knowing that I need to take care of my feet and so I’m grateful for my pedicurist
12. I’m grateful that I love good food and know the difference between good food and schlock food
13. I’m grateful for chocolate and coffee in my life
14. I’m grateful for my friends — near and far — for those I’ve met face-to-face and for those with whom I have a cyber relationship
15. I’m grateful for dreams in general, but in particular for those that come true
That’s probably enough right now…I have alot for which I’m grateful…I’m grateful for you and your blog!!!

Jill – I am going to have to piggyback on some of yours and say I am grateful too. (Numbers 1, 3, 4, 5 (but only one cat), I was thinking that in 14 – so I am piggybacking on that one too)
Awesome. Thank you. I have a lot for which I am grateful too! I was hoping people, like you would take the ball and run with it, so thank you.
I am very thankful for you!

I think it’s good to remind ourselves what we are grateful for…keeps us from taking things for granted at times. Thanks for the reminder. And a lovely list you have.

Oh! You KNOW I would be thrilled about that because then I wouldn’t feel so bad about writing a comment that is longer than your post. I do that often on your blog. I have been trying lately to keep them shorter because I feel bad when my comment is so long.
