Day Seventeen Of Plank A Day For A Month Challenge
Posted by terrepruitt on March 17, 2013
Wow! We are on day seventeen of our Plank A Day For A Month Challenge. Pretty good.
I am always hoping that many people will participate and comment, but my one good friend is good enough for me. We are having a good time, right, Dear Friend?
I am trying to decide whether to add time today or to keep it at my present duration. I just use the stopwatch feature on my phone. I make certain I plank until my “prescribed time” then I let it run until I am “done”.
Ok, as I typed this I decide what I am going to do. I am going to change my present goal time/”prescribed time” to what has been my “done” time. And then see how far past that my “done time” becomes.
Does that makes sense to you?

I am going back 17 days to read about planking. Interested to see if you’re talking about the Yoga pose Plank which is one of my favorites. It builds upper body and core strength! I’ll comment after I’ve read your previous posts!!
P.S. I loved retaking Blue!!! I’m also going to go back and re-read your posts about Blue Belt principles!! Love to you my friend!!

I planked…can’t say that I’ve done 17 days in a row since I’m just tuning in to your blog posts about Planking. Does reading about them count??? HA! I plank just about every day anyway however I will be more conscious of tuning in with your daily plank-a-rama.

Great for you/your body you plank every day. I often do the straight arm plank, but the forearm one is another story. I sense a greater challenge in the forearm one, that’s why that is the form for the challenge. If you plank almost every day then I bet you did more days out of seventeen then you realized.

So today I did my planking before my other workout and funny thing . . . that makes it a lot easier. Hah! Yesterday I did my plank challenge after some yoga and I thought, “Hmmm . . . maybe I should do my “challenge” plank before all the other ones in the yoga routine.” Ha! Well, today, I did just that. And I am letting the stopwatch run. I make sure I reach my goal duration then just let it go for a bit more. Done for today . . . . yet starting off the week!
