Unique Candle Burning Bright
Posted by terrepruitt on January 4, 2019
I don’t even remember how I found these cool candles, but I bought one for my husband for Christmas and loved them so much I bought more. This is an insight into the fact that I have not even begun to take down Christmas decorations. Been sick and using all my energy for work! This is a glowing Friday Photo.

How is your New Year going? How long do you leave your Christmas Decorations up?

Very pretty candle. Given you got sick, it’s nice you’ve left the decorations up so you can enjoy them in health.
I like to start the new year off with the holiday decorations packed and put away, which I was happy to do. I have enough other things to do; glad that’s no longer one of them.
Enjoy your candles and be well.

If it were just me having been sick that would be fine and would not have put me so behind, but my husband was sick which means I can’t be in the living room doing what I need to do because he is in the dining room (in our house it is one big great room) working so I can’t have the TV and learn my routine. So I am behind on it all!
I love my Christmas decorations, especially the lights. But there does come a time when I am ready to take them down. I am almost there! 🙂 I kind of like using the Twelve Days of Christmas as my excuse to keep up the decorations. I am thinking they will be up PAST that this year! :-O
Happy New Year!!!

We are almost there. I think my hubby will be good by Monday and I know I will be good by Tuesday (when I teach next).

Ahh. A teacher. You folks aren’t allowed to get sick, so I’m told. Too many depend on you!!! If only we’d pay teachers better.
Good health to you.

An exercise teacher. I teach Nia, yoga, and stretch. Yeah, we shouldn’t be allowed to get sick, but students come to class sick so . . . the love spreads.

The few decorations we put up stay up until the 6th of January when we celebrate El Día de los Reyes Magos (Epiphany) by indulging in Spanish Chocolate. Although, I took out the catmas tree a couple of days ago to make room for people who will come over to celebrate Reyes with us.

I dread the whole “taking down of Christmas”. This year will be a bigger challenge as we have acquired new/more stuff AND we are changing some of our storage containers. We usually clean up by now, but I am busy with other things.

Yeah, they are flat (called Flatyz). They are little works of art!
We are getting better, thanks!
