So this is our little cork Christmas tree. I put a picture of it in my last post, but I mentioned maybe adding pins and I did so I am posting it again. On the other ones I made I put a ribbon around the top cork so it could be hung, but I didn’t do that with this one. So I guess it will be a sitting decoration.

This picture is actually from earlier this month. I was trying to highlight the tree and cheers a friend. I was going to text this to her, but I got interrupted and never did. So I am using it as my last Friday Photo of 2022. I am toasting out 2022 and toasting in 2023.

And so it begins. We are going to be trying a different arrangement in the living room because we have an ornament tree and our living room is my dance/yoga studio a portion of the week. We will see. This is our just-got-Christmas tree for my Friday Photo. We leave it outside for a day before bringing it in.

I have decided to do some homemade Christmas gifts. Crafting never goes as planned. But I have fun. I love the paint, the glitter, and the glue. I don’t, however, like cork. It does not behave. Here is our dining room table a mess with “crafting”. How was your Thanksgiving weekend? I am squeezing in my Friday Photo post and back to painting and glittering I go!

Ha! So many of my photos are from this perspective. This is out my office window and as you can see – I think you will agree – it is a great vantage point to see the sunset. The photos are taken through a screen so sometimes there is that “screen” (dirty screen to be exact) effect, but this one actually looks like I have a filter on, but I don’t. My husband and I often run upstairs to see the sunset or the moon because we get a good view from up there.

As is often the case, I am rushing to post a Friday Photo. Had I thought about it, I would have posted a picture relating to Veterans Day. But instead I will post a picture from my Rose Garden visit earlier this year. I don’t even know if these are on the same bush. And I will say to thank all those who have served and sacrificed so much, without a picture to post that reflects that. I am grateful for all that they and their families have sacrificed.

This may be the same type as the one I posted on October 21, 2022, as you may know, I didn’t note the types of roses as I was walking through the garden, but we DID notice that they have more than one place for some of them. At first we just thought they looked the same, but then we did think we saw some duplicates. Still pretty so I am posting this orange rose for my Friday Photo.
