Give Me Ten

I have a Nia Class today.  So I am not sure if I will do myTen Minute Workout before or after.  This “place holder” post.  I have it post a few minutes after midnight so that my readers can comment.  (hint, hint).  I am going to do my Ten Ten in Ten.  Whether you do it or not, share . . . .

This is where we can encourage others and find some encouragement ourselves.

Ok, if you read my reply to my friend’s comment you will know that I said I was going to do my workout then take a shower, then add to my post that I did my workout.  But my plans just changed because just as I was finishing my workout my hubby called.  So I didn’t answer (shhhh don’t tell) because I only had 26 second left.  So I called him back and now we are on the phone so I am typing and talking at the same time.

It is starting to get hot in California and I am sweating.  I was sweating before I started because I was cleaning, but now . . . ewwww.

Anyway . . . . TMI, huh?  I did my workout.  I think it might be getting easier because I am able to do more.

What about you, did you do your workout?

    Ok it is done, 10 minutes! I am motivated by coffee, I like to work out before I drink my coffee and I look forward to coffee every morning. Kids worked out with me this morning again, they think it is fun. So far the husband has not caught the bug, although he is thinking about it. I am only doing 6 of the 10 in 10 right now, so I am doing them all twice and including some stretching too…I loved the squat post too, I need to figure out how to use more glutes and less quads.

      I am just about to do mine. Coffee is my motivation too, but I don’t get up early enough to drink my coffee and workout and review my routine. I have to have liquids in (and out) 🙂 before I teach.

      Six out of ten is AWESOME. Working up to ten is GREAT. There are so many ways to do it. The idea was to limit it to ten minutes so that there is no “I don’t have time excuse.” Which I myself have been tempted to use. Even though I am running later than I want to right now (I am having company over) I am going to do it becuase I don’t want to use that excuse.

      Squats ARE quads. Lunges can be more glute by doing them REALLY LONG and haivng to stand back up is where your glutes come in. Also going low, low, low. In a squat see if putting your butt WAY, WAY, WAY back helps you sesnse more of your glutes.
