In September of 2018 I posted a watercolor painting that hangs on the wall of the community center where I teach yoga on Thursday evenings. It was a painting of a flamingo. It is gorgeous. I have snapped a few photos of some of the paintings. I want to share them as my Friday Photo. Here is a gorgeous elephant.

Oooooooo! What do you think of this? A great piece of art, yes? I love blue so I am totally attracted to it. Blue, plus it seems like POSITIVE! Like it is moving out. Moving out into the world. A positive force.

I don’t even remember how I found these cool candles, but I bought one for my husband for Christmas and loved them so much I bought more. This is an insight into the fact that I have not even begun to take down Christmas decorations. Been sick and using all my energy for work! This is a glowing Friday Photo.

This year we bought our tree close to home. We went to a parking lot where they had set up a tree lot. We bought a tree there before and it was fine. So we thought we would try it again. I walked around and was trying to decide between three trees. Looked and looked – got it down to two trees. Looked some more and made a decision. Well, the funny thing about our tree that seemed like it needed a little grooming – it needed a lot of grooming. I think it might have just been cut open before we got there because A LOT of the branches were still “up”. I mean it is normal for branches to “fall”, but this one was a doozy. It has branches that stick out about a foot from the other ones. It is funny. But we like it.

Here is one of my new Christmas Tree ornaments that I believe we got in Capitola during one of our visits. This is the new kind I seem to be collecting. They are so pretty. The ones I tend to like are decorated with beads, “pearls”, sparkly things, and dangles. Here is a unicorn ornament for my Friday Photo.

Oh my! It is Christmastime already! How did that happen so fast? Whew! Well, I was nowhere near ready for it and so I have been absorbed in decorating and getting ready for all of the beauty of it for the last couple of days (weeks?) and I have ignored so many things and people (sorry) and I am still not feeling ready and/or organized. I have explained before, I think, that I take selfies with my cats to send to my husband sometimes. Yeah I did, because I remember explaining how bad I am at selfies. Well, this is further proof! We went to Capitola to have breakfast on Thanksgiving as we have done the last three years. Nothing was open for a full breakfast, but we got coffee and a burrito (John) and a bagel (me) at Mr. Toot’s. I had never been there so I was happy. It was a GORGEOUS day. We had just gotten a bit of rain and that helped wash the air of the smoke that we have been having from the fire that was almost 200 miles away.
We had a nice time. It was so beautiful I took a bunch of pictures I have to share at least one for the Friday Photo.
